Abstract

Throughout the course of this book it will be assumed that the BASIC programming language of the Electron is reasonably familiar to the reader. In this first chapter, therefore, we shall be looking at some of the BASIC commands — those concerned wholly or partly with graphics. The display capabilities of the micro will be explored by means of a series of example programs and simple exercises. In the chapters that follow we shall use this knowledge to develop a sound understanding, both practical and mathematical, of computer graphics.
