Abstract

This section lists detailed specifications of many of the more popular printers currently available for use with microcomputers. The market for printers is growing at around 25% per annum both in the UK and US. Most new printers being announced are offering increased capabilities, faster speed and lower prices. Prices are the most critical area and there is a pressure to lower printer prices to match the decreasing cost of microcomputers.
