A Sample File Handler

Abstract

This chapter draws together all of the previous work, particularly that of chapter 8, in order to produce a complete file handling package. For purposes of continuity, the previous employee record details and the same record format have been used for development and testing. Although it is unlikely that the package will represent a complete solution to an actual file-handling requirement, the features that are included in the package are typical of those found in commercially available software.
