Abstract
Few economic topics have received as much attention in the East, particularly in the past, as the principles governing income distribution. In a sense this is not surprising, since it is one of the central problems of a theory of economic systems. Yet this is not the only reason for the great interest in the topic; many economists feel that analyses given hitherto are simplistic, or at best open-ended; they therefore regard it as a challenge to make a contribution to the topic. Like many other theoretical theses this too has gone through important changes.
