# One-Sample Tests Based on Z and t

Chapter

## Abstract

Suppose that a series of random samples, all the same size, are drawn from a population with a mean of μ. Suppose further that each sample is returned to the population before the next sample is drawn. The population is therefore the same for each sample and never becomes exhausted however many samples are drawn.
