Abstract

It is very evident that however much we learn about the properties of muscle receptors, the possibilities for their employment in movement control must depend on the nature and strength of their central connections. This session was dedicated to the reflexes of muscle afferents, not from the point of view of details of synaptic arrangements, but rather trying to assess their effectiveness in various real tasks and how they may be adapted to changing needs.
