From Hayden Church, ‘Halt, Hitler! by Bernard Shaw’, Sunday Dispatch, 4 June 1933. This interview was conducted on Shaw’s return from his world tour aboard the Empress of Britain. Hayden Church, an American journalist who was a member of the New York Times staff in London in the 1930s and 1940s, is the author of numerous interview-articles on Shaw.
