The Lawrences at Home

Abstract

It was probably at Koteliansky’s house in Acacia Road, St John’s Wood, that my first meeting with Lawrence took place. I had recently moved from Yeats’s maisonette in Woburn Buildings to a house in St. James’s Terrace, Regent’s Park, a few minutes’ walk from Acacia Road. Lawrence used to come to lunch with us sometimes, when he was staying with Kot.
