Oligopolistic Firms: Competitive and Non-competitive

Part of the Studies in Planning and Control book series

Abstract

In this chapter the category dealt with is that of firms taking into account the reactions of specific rivals, in other words, oligopoly. (As was explained in Chapter 2, the term ‘mutual interdependence recognised’ is strictly preferable to ‘oligopoly’, since it is the interrelationship of the firms, not the fewness of number, that counts.)
