Abstract
Although Rawplug hand tools, (figure 20.1) are still used, they are becoming less popular, especially since the tipped drill (figures 20.2a and b) makes the work much easier when fitted to a portable electric drill—time is also saved, to say nothing of the greater accuracy obtained by the drill. The drill, which is tipped with tungsten carbide, is designed to fit into the chuck of a portable electric drill but it can, of course, be used in a wheel brace.
