Abstract

The extremely rapid growth in our knowledge of the chemical structure and biology of the peptide hormones during the last few years is among the most exciting areas of development in medicinal chemistry. Yet little attention has yet been focused on reviewing the pharmacology of these potent compounds in the light of what is now known.
