Abstract

Reporting what someone else has said or written is a difficult and demanding exercise. As we have argued in Reproducing Information and Ideas (p. 43), it is all the more demanding when we dislike or disagree with what we have to report. All forms of reporting impose on the reporter the obligation to be accurate.
