The Measurement of Solid and Liquid Samples with End-window Detectors

Abstract

Activities are often measured on solid samples with an end-window detector, although this is not always the most sensitive method. The main reason for this is doubtless that the equipment needed for these measurements is generally simpler than that for the measurement of liquid and gaseous samples.
