Abstract
To study the operation of a transistor when used for switching means to define the different shapes of the currents and voltages which may appear in the components of the circuits with which they are associated. Before we examine in detail the transient effects which are liable to affect more particularly the output signal, we must remind ourselves of the physical principles associated with the static study of transistors.
