Abstract

The previous chapters, especially chapter 2, describe inherently inequitable and unjust societies where the burden of injustice falls heaviest on the dis-advantaged social segments, notably women, youth and children, the poor, and the marginalized. However, the injustices of present day authoritarian regimes extend even to future generations. Neglected environmental hazards are but one example. Another is the failure to tackle the problem of low productivity.
