Strategies to Formulate Role Descriptions
Bruce sat down with Mick, Keith, and Maggie in the meeting room to discuss the four non-job roles included in their new role description. The three employees were machine operators in a production company that manufactured springs for a wide variety of applications. They had the same job, but worked in different shifts in the company. Although the machine operators worked separately, they worked with several other machine operators in shifts. Bruce, the company’s HR manager, wanted to gather a small team together to consider the four non-job roles and their application in the context of the operators’ work.
