Abstract

Here, we are referring to management succession. Later, in Chapter 7, we address owner succession. A smooth succession won’t happen unless there is a willing, competent, and well-prepared successor or successor team. And it doesn’t make sense to wait until your children are young adults to think about their development as successors. While the process will intensify when they reach adulthood, it actually must begin when they are very young.
