Abstract
Interviews have long been used as one of the major methods of research and there are many different types of interview that you could adopt — structured, oral or life history, counselling, diary or unstructured to name just a few. Interviews can be carried out on a big scale using large groups of people or in a one-to-one small-scale enquiry.
