Abstract

The previous chapters have given many suggestions on how to facilitate family council and family assembly meetings. As the story below describes, there are times and reasons why a family may choose to use an outside facilitator to achieve its goals. This chapter will address why families consider outside facilitators, how to best utilize an outside facilitator, and what to look for when selecting one.
