Abstract
Every medical education program should have an admission policy that specifies the requirements for entry into its program, that is, describe clearly the process used for selecting students and trainees. Typically, this information should be freely available on the program’s website and in its published material. Such a policy should aim to minimize discrimination and bias and should address the mechanism available for appeals.
