Abstract
The last decade many Level 1 PSA studies were performed in Russia, Ukraine, and Armenia for WER-type reactors. As a rule, theses studies were carried out within multinational bilingual projects. The authors were involved in some of them from either PSA team or review team side. The paper presents main findings of the review which could be useful for PSA practitioners and reviewers of other multi-faceted projects. The paper analyses importance of the key issues in terms of quality and consistency of PSA. The experience gained from the reviews was used for developing PSA norm documents issued by the Russian Regulatory Body.
