Abstract
If our descendants try to comprehend what was most important in science and technology in our times, they probably will put computers in first place. Now the wildest dreams of Babbage are reality, and Maxwell or Kelvin would not have to spend time and efforts on dull calculations that could be executed by computers. Moreover, modern computers can do even some creative work, of which these great men could not even dream.
