Abstract
The transient responses of short-pulse (ultra-wideband) signals are analyzed in electromagnetic scattering problems. An efficient way to simulate the short-pulse measurements is introduced. The attenuation of the signal made by the nonlinear property of the transmitting and receiving antennas is shown by a scattering problem. The problem is separated to three subsystems. Time domain results for two of the subsystems are analyzed.
