Abstract
This chapter focuses on the use of technologies in learning mathematics through modelling and applications. In the limited space available, we have chosen to concentrate, in the first part of the discussion, on some important uses of computer software to stimulate modelling development at the secondary level. In the second part of the discussion, at the tertiary level, we present an innovative mathematics program that makes extensive use of technologies and that has a core in applications and modelling.
