Obstetric Complications During Pregnancy

Abstract

This chapter focuses on the following four complications of pregnancy: spontaneous abortion, ectopic pregnancy, preterm labor, and hypertension associated with pregnancy. Their definition, epidemiology, etiology, pathophysiology, diagnosis, prevention, and management are discussed.
