Abstract
This is by necessity an incomplete list. While we concentrated primarily on professional productions within the United States, we make occasional exceptions for innovative community and school productions, as well as for a few non-U.S. productions (those that include U.S. cast or crew, influence U.S. productions, or tour/are screened in the United States). To our regret, this excludes many suggestive international entries in which race and performance provocatively intersect. Nonetheless, in an attempt at coherence, we maintain an American focus, in spite of how diasporic influences inevitably complicate such a focus.
