The exact matching task for contour and formally defined set of contours is considered. The set of contours is defined by means of formal tools similar to the description of regular languages, but taking into account the cyclic structure of the contour when the starting point of contour tracing in general case is not defined. The algorithm is proposed for structural analysis of contours during line-by-line scanning of the image. Experimental results show high performance of the algorithm.
