Abstract

The application software of the Rafale Mission computer is an important airborne real time application. The variety of tasks performed by the mission computer within the weapon system, first did not seem to favor the use of code generators. This paper presents the technical and financial study made by Dassault Electronique to automatically produce Ada source code in this context. It presents the conclusions of the study, the adopted quality approach guidelines, the technical features of the generators and concrete results of use of such generators.
