Theoretical Aspects of Evolutionary Computation

Recent findings in the local (1 , + λ) ES-theory for (nearly) arbitrary continuous fitness functions are presented and compared to ES-experiments. Two approaches will be considered: The probability theory approach and an extension of the spherical model theory by Riemannian geometry.
