Abstract

In this century we have encountered unprecedented situation of a population explosion and expansion of economic activities with massive consumption, and now we are facing world-wide problems resulting from these phenomena. To create prosperous society by releaving strains caused by the pehnomena, we must have a new paradigm for industry and technology development based on a new sense of values, i.e., life of nature and human beings must always be taken into consideration. The new technologies based on this new paradigm can only sprout on new scientific principles which will stimulate enthusiasm to the younger generation of the next century. Synergistic endeavors to overcome any possible obstacles will be needed to create new technological innovations.
