Abstract
This paper describes the early results of the PROMESSE project conducted for the European Space Agency, which aims at formalizing and implementing ESA software development processes, and more specifically the lessons learned from this experiment. Following the logic of the study, it presents the lessons learned from the formalization task, then those learned from the implementation. It concludes with a presentation of the method which will be applied for the validation of the implementation (at the time this paper is written, validation is still going on).
