Abstract

A model of a standard cordless telephone system is presented and analysed. Some results are presented describing the behaviour of the system both qualitatively and quantitatively. By considering the problems involved in treating this complex stochastic system in some generality, we proceed to derive a general environment capable of supporting the modelling and performance analysis of a range of such systems.
