Abstract

We want to present in this paper the impact of Ada on MIS applications. One of the most important messages from Reifers's studies [12] is that it is very hard to differentiate Ada language effects from the impact of software engineering. He observed throughout Ada developments that a greater emphasis and allocation of resources on design was required; resulted in finding many errors sooner in the life cycle. This result is due to good software engineering practice than to the use of Ada. Such good practice was highly encouraged and supported when using Ada than other high order languages.
