Diquark struscture of proton and the problem of colour transparency in wide-angle quasielastic PP scattering on nuclei

Abstract

We suggest a model for the quasielastic wide-angle pp scattering, in which two mechanisms contribute at intermediate energies: a single hard scattering and the Landshoff multiple one. Calculated colour transparency factors, T(A), agree with data. Specific effect, filter mechanism, appears in this model, which can lead to T > 1.
