Abstract
The transport of cosmic rays in astrophysical fluid flows thought to be present in AGN's and jets is discussed in terms of diffusive particle transport equations; pitch angle evolution transport equations; and hydrodynamical equations governing the interaction of the energetic particles with the background flow. As an example of the use of these equations a discussion is given of the transport of energetic charged particles in an accretion flow onto a Schwarzchild black hole.
