Revision in propositional calculus

Knowledge base revision is one of the main problems arising in knowledge representation. When a new information is added to a knowledge base, inconsistency can result In this paper, we describe a revision method for use in prepositional calculus. First, some properties of minimal inconsistent subsets are recalled, then the revision method is described. It involves the computation of the intersection of minimal inconsistent subsets. Some results are presented from which an algorithm is deduced. Finally an implementation using Semantic Evaluation as resolution method, is proposed.
