Abstract

Experience gained in developing models for the LRTAP (Long-Range Transport of Atmospheric Pollutants) project at the National Water Research Institute has led to a number of development tools for modelling, data fitting, and simulation studies in environmental policy decision-support. The mechanisms for developing the initial models on personal workstations carry directly into prototype/demonstration systems which are then connected to production support databases.
