Abstract

After all, we think that expert system technology is a promising new field in software development. The needed development time is at least for projects up to a medium range delightfully low and acceptance by the customers is good. In our opinion, the best way to take full advantage from it would be to combine it with other new ideas like object orieted programming and to incorporate expert system features into hybrid systems, thus creating more rule oriented or more procedural oriented systems at will.
