Abstract

We want to apply Petrinet descriptions in different variations to the modelling of functional requirements and designs of complex systems. Therefore in this paper we suggest a methodology how to do that. Then we scetch the requirements to tools to support this methodology. The main part describes an editor, which supports the hierarchical description of channel-agency nets and a simulator for hierarchically represented condition-event nets.
