Abstract

The report includes brief review of the existing approaches to the extension of the relational data base model to support incompleteness or imprecision of data. The most expressive is the model using the possibility theory and fuzzy sets. It is proposed to implement such extension of the relational data base by introducing the abstract data type corresponding to the incomplete and imprecise data.
