Abstract

Experiences of application of the object oriented approach to safety analysis of an extra high voltage substation bay are presented. As the first step the object model of the whole application is developed. Then the model is subjected to three safety analysis methods. The analyses are supported by an existing tool. The paper illustrates the application of the proposed methods and also gives some observations on the performance of the tool.
