The Operational Aspects of Component Architecture

Abstract

This position paper adopts the line that operational policies embodied in component frameworks and architectures should be treated as composable entities. Further, it is proposed that means must be established to deal with the duplication or conflict of policies where several frameworks participate in an architecture.
