Abstract
Having established in the previous chapter the concentration phenomenon at the limit shape for Young diagrams with respect to the Plancherel measure, it is now natural to ask what fluctuation is observed in a small neighbourhood of the limit shape. There have been substantial studies along this line for the Plancherel measure. The present chapter tackles such a central limit problem from the viewpoint of quantum probability theory.
