Abstract

To formalize the management model introduced in the previous chapter, we use the specification language PROGRESS [Schürr 1989; Schürr 1990; Schürr 1994; Schürr et al. 1995; Schürr et al. 1999]. The PROGRES specification of the management model serves in turn as a starting point for the implementation of the management system to be described in the next chapter.
