Abstract

This chapter contains a summary of the presentations given at the Workshop on Parallel/High-Performance Object-Oriented Scientific Computing (POOSC’99) at the European Conference on Object-Oriented Programming (ECOOP’99) which was held in Lisbon, Portugal on June 15, 1999. The workshop was organized jointly by the Special Interest Group on Object-Oriented Technologies of the Esprit Working Group EuroTools and Los Alamos National Laboratory.
