Abstract

In this paper the Component-Expert technology and its usage for data access problems in the CrossGrid environment are presented. The technology makes use of the component architecture supported by the expert system methodology in order to assist selection of the most appropriate component during the program operation. In the CrossGrid environment its purpose is to support local management of data, based on selection of components (data-handlers) for data storing and retrieving inside storage nodes.
