Abstract
This paper presents a method to demarcate the extent of an intracranial aneurysm given a 3-D model of the vasculature. Local shape descriptors are grouped using a novel region-splitting algorithm. The method is used to automatically estimate aneurysm volume. Results are presented for four clinical data sets.
