Abstract

In the previous chapter several of the most important characterization methods have already been adressed, but besides microstructural and compositional investigations, physical properties such as current-carrying capability and magnetic behavior have to be examined, too. For certain, the most basic properties of a superconductor are its current-carrying capability and its behavior in an external magnetic field.
