Abstract

Concluding the text at this point can only result in a partial conclusion: Research in the field of diffuse interface modeling is still young and fully active. It is likely, that while I am writing, further progress of considerable impact is achieved. As discussed progress could basically be twofold, either concerning modeling related issues or numerical ones.
