Abstract
In this chapter we deal with classes (of \( \mathbb{L}_k \) ), which are either direct predecessors of the empty set (so-called minimal classes) or which are direct predecessors of the set of all projections (so-called minimal clones).
It will turn out that it is not heavy to determine the minimal classes. However, for the minimal clones only partial results can be given.
